Continent 8 Technologies Enhances Cloud Connect with Cloudflare Partnership

Benefits of the Enhanced Cloud Connect

The enhanced Cloud Connect now allows operators and suppliers to leverage a secure connection that bypasses the public internet, utilizing Continent 8’s private MPLS global backbone.

This setup significantly minimizes the public attack surface while ensuring optimal reachability with the shortest possible route (“hop”) between the user’s infrastructure and cloud services.

A History of Secure and Resilient Connectivity

Originally launched over six years ago, Continent 8’s Cloud Connect has been a cornerstone of its offering, providing fast, secure, and resilient access not only to Cloudflare but also to other major cloud service providers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Microsoft Azure.

Justin Cosnett, Chief Product Officer at Continent 8, emphasized the value of the partnership with Cloudflare, noting, “Growing our product suite by partnering with Cloudflare enables both of us to offer customers the most secure, fast, and efficient connectivity.
