Sportradar Appoints Ex-Google Behshad Behzadi as Chief Technology and AI Officer

Sportradar Group has bolstered its leadership team by naming Behshad Behzadi as its new Chief Technology Officer and Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer (CTO and CAIO).

Expertise in AI and Technology

Behzadi, with over two decades of experience in computer science and technology leadership, has an extensive track record of innovation at Google, where he was instrumental in developing AI-first products like Google Assistant and Google Lens.

Holding a PhD in Bioinformatics and having conducted postdoctoral research at the Max Planck Institute for Molecular Genetics, his expertise spans multiple critical areas in AI, including algorithms, natural language processing, and machine learning.

Focus on Innovation and Efficiency

In his new role at Sportradar, Behzadi will report directly to CEO Carsten Koerl and will oversee initiatives to integrate AI and other technologies across Sportradar’s products.

His efforts will aim to deliver hyper-personalized experiences for sports fans and streamline operational processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
