Rams and Genius Sports Launch Augmented In-Game Highlights at SoFi Stadium

15.10.2024

The Los Angeles Rams have teamed up with Genius Sports to bring augmented, data-driven in-game highlights to SoFi Stadium. Using the NFL’s Next Gen Stats (NGS) and Genius Sports’ AI platform, GeniusIQ, these highlights will be shown on the Infinity Screen at every home game.

Next Gen Stats

The highlights will show fans real-time info, including player locations and speeds, time to throw for the QB and a minimap of key plays.

NGS data, powered by machine learning and AI, takes large amounts of player data and turns it into meaningful, bite-sized info for fans to enjoy the game day experience.

As a long-time partner of the Rams, Verizon will be at the center of the augmented experience. Their brand will be featured in the highlights and will advertise during key moments of the game.

This will give Verizon a new way to connect with Rams fans and strengthen their brand in a live sports environment.
