Oddin.gg Expands into Ohio with New Sports Betting License

07.10.2024

Oddin.gg has secured a 3 year sports betting license in Ohio. This is their 5th licensed market in North America after being approved by the Ohio Casino Control Commission. They met the states regulatory requirements which included financial stability and operational compliance with local laws.

A Growing Market

Ohio’s sports betting market went live in 2023 and is expected to grow big. According to the Ohio Legislative Service Commission, the market will generate around $3.35 billion annually once mature.

Oddin.gg’s CEO, Vlastimil Venclík stated, “Securing a license from the Ohio Casino Control Commission is a significant step in our North American journey.

“Ohio is poised to become one of the most dynamic betting markets in the U.S., and gaining this approval after meeting the state’s rigorous standards is a true reflection of our commitment to integrity and excellence both in Ohio and beyond”, added.

Expanding into Licensed Markets

The Ohio license is part of Oddin.gg’s expansion into regulated sports betting markets in North America. In addition to Ohio, they are already active in West Virginia, Colorado and New Jersey.

Last month they got a temporary wagering license from the West Virginia Lottery Commission after a thorough compliance review. They are also licensed in Ontario, Canada.

Oddin.gg’s growing presence in North America is a proof of their commitment to deliver esports and sports wagering solutions in compliance with the highest regulatory standards.

With partners like Sportradar and PGL they are well set to expand into both US and Canadian markets.
