Indiana Sports Betting Revenue Up 25.7% Year-on-Year in February
Indiana’s sports betting market recorded a year-over-year revenue increase of 25.7% in February 2025, reaching $47.7 million in adjusted gross revenue (AGR), despite a notable monthly decline. While traditional leaders like DraftKings and FanDuel remained steady, Fanatics Sportsbook emerged as a standout performer, nearly quadrupling its handle compared to February 2024.

Yearly Growth Despite Monthly Decline
According to the Indiana Gaming Commission, adjusted gross revenue from sports betting dropped by 13.3% month-over-month in February 2025. However, the overall AGR showed a sharp year-over-year rise from $37.9 million in February 2024 to $47.7 million this year — a 25.7% increase.
The state’s total handle followed a similar pattern. Although it declined 19.6% from January to February, it climbed 5.9% year-over-year, reaching $432.8 million compared to $408.6 million in the same month last year.
Indiana bettors continued to favor basketball and parlays. In February, basketball bets accounted for a $183.4 million handle, while parlays reached $137.4 million. These categories remain dominant within the state’s wagering market.
Online Sportsbooks Reflect Broader Trends
Of the total $47.7 million in AGR, online sportsbooks contributed $45.8 million. The overall handle generated by sportsbook operators stood at $405.8 million — down 19.2% from January.
Despite a higher betting volume, DraftKings did not top revenue charts. It reported a $150.4 million handle and $16.8 million in AGR. FanDuel, with a lower handle, outpaced its rival in earnings, generating $19.1 million. This dynamic reflects an ongoing trend where FanDuel leads in AGR while DraftKings leads in handle.
All seven licensed sportsbooks in Indiana posted monthly handle declines. However, Caesars and ESPN BET showed modest revenue gains. Caesars increased from $1.6 million to $1.9 million, and ESPN BET grew from $1 million to $1.2 million.
Fanatics and bet365 Post Notable Yearly Growth
While FanDuel and DraftKings experienced only slight year-over-year fluctuations, other operators reported significant changes. Fanatics Sportsbook increased its handle by 299.8%, growing from $6.4 million in February 2024 to $25.9 million in 2025. Its AGR rose accordingly. Meanwhile, bet365 reported a 34.7% increase in handle over the same period.
