Gannett and BetMGM Form Strategic Partnership for Sports Betting Content
Gannett Co., Inc., the media giant behind USA TODAY, has entered into a multi-year strategic partnership with BetMGM. The collaboration positions BetMGM as the preferred online sportsbook and casino partner for USA TODAY Sports, extending its reach across Gannett’s extensive network of over 200 local publications in 43 states.

Integration of Betting Odds and Information
Under the agreement, BetMGM’s sports betting odds, including moneylines, spreads, and over/unders, will be integrated into USA TODAY Sports content.
A “Bet Now” feature will also be incorporated, allowing readers easy access to BetMGM’s platform. Additionally, BetMGM will be listed as a partner on the website footers of all USA TODAY Network publications, enhancing its visibility to a broad audience.
Michael Reed, Gannett’s Chairman and CEO, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration. “We are thrilled to announce a re-imagined partnership with BetMGM, a trusted operator in the sports betting landscape. As a best-in-class partner, our goal is to deliver their trusted sports betting information to our audience of more than 44 million sports fans—especially now that football season has kicked off,” Reed said.
“We believe BetMGM complements our existing portfolio of partners and will enable us to drive further audience growth and engagement. We anticipate this collaboration will immediately lead to an increase in the overall monetization of our content platform.”
BetMGM’s Vision for Enhanced Fan Engagement
