Bet365 Chooses Denver for U.S. Headquarters

01.10.2024

Bet365 has announced Denver, Colorado, as the location for its new U.S. headquarters. The decision places the Mile High City among the top destinations for international gaming companies establishing their roots in the Western United States, further solidifying Denver’s growing status as a hub for the betting industry.

Major Investment and Job Creation

According to Colorado’s Office of Economic Development and International Trade, bet365 plans to hire nearly 1,000 employees at its new Denver campus, with 300 positions expected to be filled within the first year.

The UK-based company, which employs over 7,000 people worldwide, already operates in the U.S. with a New Jersey presence and 50 employees currently working in Denver.

A bet365 spokesperson highlighted the significance of the new headquarters, stating,

“Unveiling our U.S. headquarters in beautiful downtown Denver represents a watershed moment in bet365’s North American journey. The Mile High City and its thriving business community is the ideal location to launch the next chapter in our company’s future, and we’re excited to create an industry-leading, innovative workplace in our new home.”

The company has secured a $14 million tax credit over eight years as part of its agreement with Colorado’s economic development commission.

Governor Polis Welcomes Bet365 to Colorado

Governor Jared Polis praised the announcement, noting the positive economic impact the move will have on the state. He said,

“Bet365 will create nearly 1,000 new good-paying jobs and as many as 300 this year that will help Coloradans earn a good living and support their families. We are confident they will quickly find that our great state is the best place to live, work, and do business.”

Denver’s Growing Appeal for Betting Brands

Bet365’s choice to establish its U.S. headquarters in Denver follows in the footsteps of other notable betting companies, including Australia’s PointsBet, which opened its U.S. headquarters in the city shortly after the legalization of mobile sports betting in Colorado.

Last year, Fanatics acquired PointsBet’s U.S. assets, maintaining a significant employee presence in downtown Denver.
