WONDR NATION Taps Sparket for New Free-to-Play Pop Culture Prediction Game
WONDR NATION, the online gaming company of the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation, has partnered with the social gaming startup Sparket to launch a new free-to-play brand called iWondr. The first offering is a pop culture prediction contest designed to engage a broad audience beyond traditional sports bettors.

Beyond Traditional Gaming
The new iWondr contest moves away from sports and into the world of entertainment. Users will predict outcomes on trending topics, from top-grossing movies to music charts and television shows.
The platform is designed for social engagement and is free to play, with top performers on the leaderboard winning digital gift cards.
The contest is open to participants aged 18 and older nationwide, except where prohibited. By focusing on culturally relevant topics, WONDR NATION aims to attract a new demographic that may not be interested in traditional sports or casino gaming.
The Social Betwork® Engine
The contest is powered by Sparket’s proprietary Social Betwork® technology. This platform is built around community and social prediction, creating a more interactive experience than typical betting platforms.
“We created Sparket to make social gaming a more interactive experience,” said Aaron Basch, CEO and Co-Founder of Sparket. “WONDR NATION’s vision and commitment to audience-first innovation make them the perfect partner to roll out a new form of play that’s engaging and culturally in tune.”
For WONDR NATION, the launch is a key strategic move to innovate and expand its brand. As the online gaming arm of the tribe that owns and operates Foxwoods Resort Casino, the company is looking for new ways to blend entertainment, technology, and community.
“This partnership allows us to bring a completely new, culturally relevant experience to audiences who may not typically participate in traditional gaming,” said Anika Howard, CEO of WONDR NATION. “At WONDR NATION, we’re committed to innovation that blends culture, technology, and community, and iWondr is a great example of that vision coming to life.”
