University of North Dakota Partners with ProhiBet

ProhiBet struck another college partnership, this time with The University of North Dakota (UND). The goal of this collaboration is to safeguard sports integrity and ensure compliance with state-specific regulations by preventing prohibited individuals, such as athletes, coaches, league officials, and administrative staff, from engaging in sports wagering.

Comprehensive Education and Monitoring

The agreement between ProhiBet and UND includes the integration of ProhiBet solutions provided by IC360, along with digital educational training for all student-athletes, coaches, and administrative staff.

Liz Jarnigan, UND’s Senior Associate AD for Internal Operations, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership: “UND Athletics is pleased to partner with ProhiBet in delivering sports wagering education to our student-athletes and staff. The platform will also provide us with monitoring capabilities that will help our department to proactively address potential compliance issues.”

State-of-the-Art Technology

ProhiBet, a joint venture between U.S. Integrity and Odds On Compliance, now known as IC360, provides a range of solutions beyond monitoring.

IC360’s portfolio includes integrity monitoring, compliance advisory, and education, supported by products like the Integrity Monitoring dashboard and PlayBookAI.

ProhiBet’s technology offers a transparent method for sports properties, both professional and collegiate, and sportsbook operators to ensure adherence to complex state regulations governing sports betting.

Matt Heap, Managing Director of ProhiBet, also highlighted the significance of the partnership: “We are thrilled to partner with the University of North Dakota– the combination of ProhiBet’s state-of-the-art encrypted data transfer system and North Dakota’s dedication to upholding the integrity of sports will undoubtedly enhance the transparency and trustworthiness of sports betting activities.”
