Underdog, widely recognized as the fastest-growing sports operator in the U.S., has announced an agreement with Sportradar to integrate Bettor Sense, an AI-driven responsible gaming solution designed to detect and address high-risk player behavior.

A Proactive Approach to Player Protection

Launched in July 2025, Bettor Sense was developed by Sportradar to bring behavioral research and artificial intelligence together. The system continuously monitors player activity, runs real-time risk score checks, and creates profiles that highlight potential warning signs. Importantly, it doesn’t stop at detection. The solution also facilitates early interventions and provides resources designed to protect users before risks escalate.

Underdog is adding another layer by partnering with Birches Health, a national leader in evidence-based treatment for gambling disorders. Customers flagged through Bettor Sense will not only be identified—they’ll also have access to clinical support and tailored care services.

“This is another step in Underdog’s proactive approach to enhanced player protection,” said Adam Warrington, the company’s Vice President of Responsible Gaming. “By integrating Bettor Sense and connecting players to the treatment services offered by Birches Health, we’re ensuring that individuals get the help they need at the right time.”

Sportradar, already trusted by organizations from the NBA to FIFA, framed the partnership as a milestone for responsible gaming in the U.S.

“We applaud Underdog for taking this meaningful step,” said Jim Brown, Sportradar’s Head of Integrity Services & Athlete Wellbeing. “Our solutions are designed not just to serve our clients but to protect the integrity of the entire industry.”

About the Partners

Founded in 2020, Underdog has quickly built its reputation as a disruptor in fantasy sports and licensed sports betting. Known for proprietary technology and a growing media arm featuring athletes and analysts, the company positions itself as a sports-first entertainment hub.

Sportradar, established in 2001, operates at the intersection of sports, media, and betting, covering over a million events annually and supplying data and solutions to major leagues and operators worldwide.

Birches Health rounds out the trio, offering specialized, insurance-backed treatment for gambling addiction across the U.S., ensuring that support is not just available but accessible.
