Tennessee Sports Betting Handle Sees Year-on-Year Growth in June
In June 2024, Tennessee’s sports betting handle increased by 50% compared to the same month last year.

Despite the impressive year-on-year growth, June’s figures were unable to match those of May 2024. The handle for June dropped by 9.8% from May’s $379.2 million.
Handle Before Adjustments
The handle before adjustments also showed a similar trend. June 2024 recorded $344.8 million, up 49.7% from June 2023’s $230.3 million, but down 9.7% from May 2024’s $381.8 million.
Tax collections in June mirrored the trends seen in handle figures. The state collected $6.3 million in taxes from sports betting in June 2024, up 36.2% from the $4.6 million collected in June 2023. However, this was a 9.8% decrease from the $7 million collected in May 2024.
