SuperBook Sports Withdraws Digital Sports Betting from Eight States
SuperBook Sports has announced its decision to cease offering digital sports betting services in eight states: Arizona, Colorado, Iowa, Maryland, New Jersey, Ohio, Tennessee, and Virginia.
Continued Operations in Nevada
Despite withdrawing from these states, SuperBook Sports will continue to operate its flagship retail sportsbook at the Westgate in Las Vegas.
Additionally, its betting app will remain active in Nevada, allowing the company to maintain a presence in the digital sports betting arena.
Announcement and Customer Impact
In a brief message posted on X, SuperBook Sports conveyed the news to its customers: “We regret to inform you that SuperBook Sports will no longer be accepting bets or deposits in the following states: AZ, CO, IA, MD, NJ, OH, TN & VA.”
This announcement signals the end of SuperBook’s digital betting services in these regions and directs customers to seek alternatives for their sports betting needs.
Nevertheless, SuperBook’s market share was rather minimal. In New Jersey, the operator held only 0.3% of the revenue share in June, with an even lower share of 0.1% in other markets.
