Sportradar has launched Bettor Sense, a new AI-powered responsible gaming tool designed for proactive player protection, with Brazilian operator BETesporte becoming its first client.

A Proactive Approach to Player Safety

The new solution uses artificial intelligence to analyze player behavior and detect early signs of gambling-related harm. Based on proprietary technology and behavioral research, Bettor Sense allows operators to deploy personalized interventions to protect at-risk users.

This data-driven approach moves beyond traditional responsible gaming measures, enabling operators to act preemptively rather than reactively. It’s designed to strengthen compliance and build brand reputation by fostering a safer betting environment.

Setting a Standard in a New Market

BETesporte’s adoption of the tool is a significant move for Brazil’s recently regulated betting market. By implementing Bettor Sense from the outset, the operator is taking a proactive stance on player safety, a crucial step in building a sustainable and trusted brand.

Marcos Pereira, CEO of BETesporte, said the partnership reinforces the company’s dedication to a “responsible and ethical betting environment.” He added that Sportradar’s technology allows them to “anticipate and prevent risky behavior, ensuring our bettors have the best possible experience with complete safety.”

In addition to the player protection tool, BETesporte is also joining Sportradar’s Integrity Exchange. This global network allows betting operators to report suspicious wagering activity directly to Sportradar’s integrity division.

The collaboration strengthens the industry’s collective defense against match-fixing and betting-related corruption by promoting transparency and cooperation. This dual commitment shows BETesporte is focused on protecting both its players and the integrity of the sports they are betting on.

The Future of Responsible Gaming

Sportradar sees this partnership as a key milestone in its mission to build a more secure and sustainable global betting industry. The company is positioning Bettor Sense as an essential tool for operators navigating rising expectations around user protection.

Tom Mace, SVP at Sportradar, called the deal an “important milestone” and said BETesporte is “taking a proactive step in embracing responsible gaming as a core part of its business.”

He expressed confidence that this will be the “first of many partnerships” as more operators recognize the value of data-driven player protection.
