Sightline Partners with GeoComply to Enhance Security in Gaming Industry Transactions
Sightline has announced an exclusive partnership with GeoComply, a provider of compliance and anti-fraud technology.
The collaboration will see the integration of GeoComply’s IDComply identity verification service and its compliance-grade geolocation tools into Sightline’s extensive digital payment solutions, which cater to both land-based casinos and online gaming operators.
Addressing Compliance and Security Challenges
The partnership is designed to address the increasing compliance demands of the digital gaming sector. Sightline will utilize GeoComply’s IDComply and geolocation checks to ensure digital transactions meet the rigorous standards set by the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and adhere to Office of Foreign Asset Controls (OFAC) sanctions detection and blocking requirements.
The implementation of GeoComply’s IDComply and GeoComply Core technologies into Sightline’s offerings is scheduled over the coming months.
“Digital payments continue to proliferate in the regulated gaming industry, and having robust, secure, and efficient validation solutions for customers’ identities is paramount,” remarked Rose Zwirn, SVP of Business Development at Sightline.
She highlighted the partnership’s goal to streamline identity validation processes, thereby aligning gaming industry payments more closely with those in retail and e-commerce.
Enhancing Customer Experience and Security
Sightline plans to utilize IDComply for rapid authentication of customer identities during sign-ups across its platforms, which will simplify the process for setting up cashless wagering accounts and online Play+® registrations.
This is particularly significant in jurisdictions like Nevada, where government IDs are required for account setup. The expected outcome is an enhanced customer experience through reduced friction and improved safety measures.
