Scientific Games Joins Global Effort to Promote Responsible Lottery Play with Gift Responsibly Campaign
Scientific Games is once again showing its commitment to responsible gambling by participating in the National Council on Problem Gambling’s (NCPG) annual Gift Responsibly holiday campaign for the 7th year running. This campaign reminds consumers that lottery games are for adults, not kids, during the holiday season.
Raising Awareness Globally About Responsible Lottery Practices
As part of the 2024 Gift Responsibly campaign, Scientific Games is working with organizations around the world, including those in Argentina, Austria, Bulgaria, Canada, Ireland, the UK and the US. By joining these efforts, we’re highlighting the risks of gifting lottery games to minors and encouraging greater awareness during the festive period.

Healthy Play
Scientific Games’ responsible gaming goes beyond seasonal campaigns. Through its Healthy Play program, the company provides lotteries with science-based tools and best practices to promote healthy play. These include age-appropriate guidelines and educational initiatives for all stakeholders – consumers, retailers and more.
Scientific Games was the first lottery supplier to back the Gift Responsibly campaign and one of the first to receive global certification as a Responsible Gaming Supplier from the World Lottery Association.
Scientific Games’ responsible gaming efforts have been recognized globally. Its Healthy Play program has won multiple Communitas Awards including the 2023 Award for Excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility. These awards demonstrate the company’s commitment to safe and informed play.
