PrizePicks Opens New Headquarters in Atlanta
PrizePicks, the largest daily fantasy sports operator in North America, officially opened its new headquarters in Midtown Atlanta on December 13, 2024.
Atlanta: A New Tech Hub for PrizePicks
Midtown Atlanta is quickly becoming a tech hotspot, and PrizePicks is ready to play a big role in that growth. The company is committed to hiring local talent while also bringing in top tech professionals from across the country.
“This marks a major milestone for PrizePicks as we celebrate a new chapter of growth,” said Mike Ybarra, CEO of PrizePicks. “Not only do we see massive opportunity to foster homegrown talent in the state, but also to attract the top minds in tech from around the country.”
The ribbon-cutting ceremony, attended by Georgia Governor Brian Kemp and First Lady Marty Kemp, was a major moment for both the company and the city. The new 33,000-square-foot office highlights PrizePicks’ growing presence in Georgia and its plan to inject $25 million into the state’s economy.
Governor Kemp praised the company for its investment in Georgia and its focus on innovation: “I want to thank the entire PrizePicks team for your commitment to creating jobs and fostering innovation. Today is certainly a proud moment for both this team, but also for our state. It spotlights areas where we’re seeing our greatest success stories.”
New Leadership at PrizePicks
The headquarters opening comes at an exciting time for the company, as PrizePicks transitions into its next phase of growth. Mike Ybarra stepped in as CEO in August 2024, taking over from founder Adam Wexler, who now serves as Chairman of the Board.
Adam Wexler, who founded PrizePicks in 2017, has led the company from its early days as a startup to becoming the leading daily fantasy sports (DFS) operator in North America.
