PrizePicks Bolsters Leadership with New Chief People Officer and Senior Director of Responsible Gaming

PrizePicks has announced new additions to its leadership team, aiming to steer the company through its next growth phase. Renee White joins as Chief People Officer (CPO), and Phil Sherwood steps in as Senior Director of Responsible Gaming.

Renee White’s Role and Background

Renee White is set to lead PrizePicks’ people operations, capitalizing on her nearly two decades of experience at Warner Bros. Discovery, where she held various leadership roles.

Her most recent position involved heading the People & Culture for Turner Sports, Bleacher Report, and Turner Studios. White’s career began with Turner Broadcasting, where she managed HR for several divisions, including the Atlanta Braves.

She will be based in Atlanta, joining PrizePicks’ executive leadership team.

Phil Sherwood’s Focus on Responsible Gaming

Phil Sherwood will spearhead the enhancement of PrizePicks’ responsible gaming initiatives, aiming to set a high standard within the fantasy sports industry.

His background includes serving as Chief Communications Officer at the Massachusetts Council on Gaming and Health (MACGH), where he launched notable projects like the first statewide Remote Voluntary Self-Exclusion (VSE) Program.

Sherwood also served as President of the Board of Directors for the National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG), pushing forward national responsible gaming policies.
