PGA TOUR Teams Up with ESPN BET for Live Betting Streams on ESPN+

28.01.2025

The PGA TOUR, ESPN, and PENN Entertainment have joined forces to launch ESPN BET on PGA TOUR LIVE, a betting-focused stream that debuts February 6 during the WM Phoenix Open. The initiative will deliver live betting insights and analysis across six major FedExCup events in the 2025 PGA TOUR season.

The stream, made possible through a multi-year agreement, establishes ESPN BET as an Official Betting Operator of the PGA TOUR. This collaboration allows ESPN BET to integrate PGA TOUR marks and advertising into its content, further enhancing its sports-betting experience.

Betting Meets Golf Coverage

The live stream on ESPN+ will offer golf coverage starting two hours before each event’s main broadcast. With data from ShotLink by CDW, it will provide real-time betting angles and analysis. Fans can expect engaging discussions on odds, betting trends, and tournament predictions.

“Pairing the PGA TOUR’s in-depth ShotLink powered by CDW data with the power of the ESPN and ESPN BET brands is certain to make for a compelling sports-watching experience for fans and bettors of our sport,” said Scott Warfield, PGA TOUR Vice President, Gaming. “A competition feed with a focus on odds and wagers has been a goal of the PGA TOUR since our agreement with ESPN+ first began in 2022, and we are proud to make that vision a reality today with the support of our new partner, PENN Entertainment.”

The stream will feature host Jonathan Coachman, on-course reporter Michael Collins, and expert analysts Matt Every and Graham DeLaet. Their coverage will highlight hole-by-hole betting opportunities and key tournament markets.

Premier Events Covered

The live betting stream kicks off with the WM Phoenix Open (Feb. 6-9). It will also feature:

  • THE PLAYERS Championship (March 13-16)
  • Truist Championship (May 8-11)
  • Memorial Tournament presented by Workday (May 29-June 1)
  • Travelers Championship (June 19-22)
  • FedEx St. Jude Championship (Aug. 7-10)

These events represent some of the most prestigious tournaments on the PGA TOUR schedule, offering fans a chance to engage with golf like never before.

A New Era in Golf Broadcasting

This collaboration builds on ESPN’s extensive golf portfolio, which includes coverage of the Masters, PGA Championship, and LPGA events.

“ESPN BET on PGA TOUR LIVE is an example of the kind of engaging, innovative programming that only the PGA TOUR, ESPN BET and ESPN can deliver,” said Tim Bunnell, senior vice president, ESPN Programming and International. “Bringing these unique partnerships together is an important strategy in ESPN’s commitment to covering and expanding the audience for world-class golf across PGA TOUR LIVE on ESPN+, TGL, the Masters, PGA Championship, LPGA, and more.”
