The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) has imposed fines on two companies operating Video Gaming Terminals (VGTs), totaling $70,000.

Fines for Two VGT Operators

The PGCB fined TA Operating LLC $37,500 for failing to have a PGCB-certified employee present when their VGT lounge at 7848 Linglestown Road in Harrisburg was open and being used by customers.

Additionally, Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores, Inc. was fined $32,500 for the same violation at their VGT lounge located at 1165 Harrisburg Pike in Carlisle.

Background of the Fines

Both fines were issued due to violations of PGCB regulations requiring VGT establishments to have at least one PGCB-certified employee supervising the VGT area whenever games are available for play.

In addition to the fines imposed on the VGT operators, the PGCB placed 17 individuals on its involuntary exclusion lists. Five of these individuals left minors unattended to gamble in casinos. The remaining eight were added to the list for various offenses, including fraud involving gaming websites.
