Octoplay Receives Provisional License in Michigan
Octoplay has made its first big move into the US market by getting a provisional license to operate in Michigan. This is the company’s entry into the US iGaming market, and it’s starting with its slot games in the Great Lakes State.
Building on European Success
While Octoplay is new to the US, the company has already made a lot of progress in Europe. Over the last few months it has expanded into several regulated markets including Italy, Slovakia, Denmark and Ontario.
The Michigan license is a key part of the company’s growth strategy and allows it to get into the North American market.
Gavin Hamilton, Chairman at Octoplay, said: “Obtaining the Michigan provisional license marks the beginning of our entry into the United States, a key market for our future growth. We look forward to bringing our premium products and games to American players, starting in Michigan.”
Expanding Operator Offerings
With the provisional license in place, Octoplay will bring its popular games to Michigan operators so they can meet the demand for high quality slot games.
“While we’ve seen great success in European markets recently, our entry into the US represents a new chapter for Octoplay,” Hamilton added. “We’re committed to establishing a strong presence in the American iGaming landscape, leveraging our experience in regulated markets to deliver exceptional gaming experiences to US players and operators,” added Hamilton.
