New York’s Mobile Sports Betting Hits $1.8 Billion in September
New York’s mobile sports betting market saw strong growth in September, with a handle of $1.8 billion, marking a 2.3% increase compared to the same month last year and a 25% jump from August’s $1.44 billion.
Operator Performance Breakdown
The New York Gaming Commission reported that revenue for the month reached $159.4 million, representing a 3.7% decline year-on-year but a 27.5% rise from August.
DraftKings led the market with a revenue of $69.7 million from a handle of $788.3 million, maintaining its dominant position. FanDuel was the second-largest operator, earning $52.6 million from $511.6 million in wagers.
Caesars followed with $13 million in revenue from $147.2 million in bets, while BetMGM brought in $10.3 million from a handle of $143.9 million.

Fanatics: $8.4 million revenue from $143.2 million handle.
Rush Street Interactive: $3.5 million revenue from $43.4 million handle.
Bally Bet: $1.1 million revenue from $10.7 million handle.
Resorts World: $606,436 revenue from $6.6 million handle.
ESPN Bet, the newest entrant in New York’s market, launched on September 27, rounding out the list of operators.
