New Hampshire Bettors Cash In as Eagles Win Super Bowl Rematch
New Hampshire sports fans had plenty to celebrate during this year’s Super Bowl as the Philadelphia Eagles took down the Kansas City Chiefs, avenging their loss from the previous season. The New Hampshire Lottery reported that players wagered more than $7.5 million on the big game, making it the state’s largest single sports betting event of the year.

Eagles Win Big, And So Do New Hampshire Bettors
The vast majority of bettors backing the outright winner had the right call, as 89% of money line wagers were placed on the Eagles. With Philadelphia pulling off the win, those bettors walked away with hefty payouts.
Charlie McIntyre, Executive Director of the New Hampshire Lottery, highlighted the excitement surrounding the game:
“Between the standard touchdown, yardage, or MVP and the Swiftie Special betting options, the Super Bowl certainly lived up to its reputation as New Hampshire’s largest sports betting event of the year. Considering each bet supports New Hampshire public education, we at the New Hampshire Lottery are pleased to see $7.5 million in wagers on the event. Now, while the NFL season may have come to a close, the NBA and NHL are in full swing and March Madness is right around the corner—there’s always something for everyone!”
Prop Bets Deliver Big Wins
New Hampshire bettors found success across a variety of prop bets, including some that paid off from the very start of the game. Some of the most popular winning wagers included:
- Anytime touchdown bets on Jalen Hurts, DeAndre Hopkins, and Xavier Worthy.
- Coin toss results, with many players correctly predicting the toss would land on tails.
One of the more unique betting markets, the “Swiftie Specials”, also saw action, with $16,000 wagered in total. Among the most profitable bets were:
- “Two is Better Than One”, which required two successful two-point conversions.
- “Blank Space”, which hit when Xavier Worthy recorded a 50+ yard reception.
Since launching mobile sports betting in partnership with DraftKings on December 30, 2019, New Hampshire bettors have wagered more than $3.5 billion.
