Will December Bring a Trend Reversal?

Based on historical trends, casino revenue in Mississippi typically sees an uptick in December. Will this pattern hold true again?

It’s hard to predict, as 2024 has seen an overall decline in Mississippi’s casino revenue, with September marking the third month this year that revenue fell below the $200 million threshold.

There is no guarantee that December will reverse this trend, although local casinos are certainly hoping for a positive shift.
