Megan Easey: “ICE 2024 was especially exciting for us”

Director of Operations, Megan Easey, talks to USiGamingHub about Wizard Games’ continued growth in regulated markets, and how the provider continues to stand out in a congested marketplace.

Wizard Games has seen unprecedented growth in recent months with acclaimed titles, significant partnerships, and expansion throughout North America and beyond. What recent achievements have stood out for you?

Following our successful collaborations and commercial achievements in the European market, we can’t wait to bring our Wizard Games offerings to even more players in North America, which is a key region for us. With excellent results emerging from regulated states so far, we’re confident that as markets mature, they will take us to new heights. We are working on localised content and expect plenty of new partnerships with prominent operators in the upcoming months.

Following your successful appearance at ICE 2024, what impressions did you gather from attendees that visited Wizard Games’ stand?

ICE 2024 was especially exciting for us, with a pre-launch tournament of our new release Surtr’s Fury, which created much hype about our PAYS ANYWHERE game, that boasts Tumbling Tiles and Multipliers with the guarantee of an immersive experience. We had the opportunity to talk about our upcoming Crash game as well as our forthcoming catalogue of exciting titles for operators to strategically promote our content in acquisition, retention and reactivation campaigns to their direct customers.

As part of Pariplay, how has its Fusion® aggregation platform assisted with Wizard Games’ notable growth?

We are extremely proud of our significant growth and content diversification, with us certified in over 25 regulated jurisdictions through Pariplay’s Fusion® platform across Europe, Latin American, the US and Canada. Our magic is in our innovation. We create and adapt our tools and content according to players’ preferences and our clients’ business objectives. Our constant aim is to distribute exceptional games, inventive features and enthralling player interactions.

You’ve seen rapid expansion in North America through several partnerships with the likes of DraftKings and Hard Rock. Could you give us an insight into your long-term vision for the market?

Our mission for Wizard Games is to partner with as many operators as possible throughout the North American market. We want to deliver high quality games that resonate with players by having creative features, high quality graphics, relatable themes and support our partners’ growth strategy with our content. We are putting a huge focus on the localisation of our content in 2024.

Part of Wizard Games’ success has been down to your dynamic, multi-faceted slots. Can you tell us more about Surtr’s Fury, your latest release, as well as what else we can expect to see this year?

Games based on Scandinavian mythology are universally loved by players. We are launching the industry’s first ever game based on Surtr, the leader of the fire giants, where he sets the world aflame in Ragnarök! We wanted to create a game which transports players into the heart of a fiery Norse adventure. Looking further down the line, we will continue to focus constantly on the player’s experience, and we are very excited about the launch of our Crash game, Wright Flyer in H1 as well as Digipays, a retro-styled game. Our players can anticipate some familiar faces reappearing for another adventure, as well as some new concepts that is sure to turn heads!
