Live! Casino Philadelphia Fined for Compliance Breach
The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) has imposed a $50,000 fine on Live! Casino and Hotel Philadelphia after the facility allowed four individuals on the state’s exclusion list to gamble, marking a regulatory breach.
iGaming Exclusion List Expands
In a separate development, the PGCB has added five individuals to its iGaming Involuntary Exclusion List for fraudulent activities, including repeated account creations and unauthorized chargebacks that resulted in over $30,000 in losses.
This addition brings the iGaming exclusion list to a total of 47 individuals, reinforcing the board’s stance on fraud prevention and regulatory compliance in the online gaming space.
The PGCB also took action against two individuals who left minors unattended on casino premises, banning them from all Pennsylvania casinos.
PGCB Continues Strict Enforcement
The PGCB has maintained a strong stance on regulatory compliance. Back in January, Mountainview Thoroughbred Racing, LLC, incurred fines amounting to $147,500 for violations.
Meanwhile, Sugarhouse HSP Gaming, LP, which operates Rivers Philadelphia Casino, faced a $65,000 fine for not meeting staffing standards and for delays in reporting a voucher theft.
