Konami Gaming Appoints New Leadership to Drive North American Sales
Konami Gaming has announced significant changes to its leadership team, appointing Chris Rowe as vice president of North American game sales.
Shane Thompson Promoted to Director of Sales, Corporate Accounts
With over 20 years of experience in the gaming industry, Rowe brings a wealth of knowledge in executive management and sales leadership, having worked across multiple regions, including Asia, Latin America, Europe, and Africa. In his new role, Rowe will oversee the growth of game sales in both the U.S. and Canada.
In addition to Rowe’s appointment, Shane Thompson has been promoted to director of sales, and corporate accounts. Thompson, who has been a key member of Konami’s sales team since 2020, will focus on managing and developing relationships with major corporate casino clients, with a continued emphasis on the Canadian market.
Focus on Strengthening Casino Partnerships
Jay Bertsch, Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer at Konami Gaming, emphasized the importance of these leadership changes. “Chris Rowe has consistently demonstrated an exceptional ability to build strong customer relationships and drive growth across diverse global markets,” Bertsch said.
He added that Thompson’s promotion is part of Konami’s strategy to enhance its commitment to the casino industry.
