Kambi Secures Player Account Management Code for Nevada Market Entry
Kambi Group plc, a provider of sports betting technology, has bought the source code for a Player Account Management (PAM) system from OMEGA Systems. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The acquisition positions Kambi for growth in other regulated areas where access to third-party PAM systems is difficult. The company expects the full integrated solution to be ready for the Nevada market by the end of the first half of 2026.
Acquiring Core Operating System
The PAM system is a central component for running a sportsbook. It allows an operator to manage all aspects of a player’s interaction with the betting system. Key functions include player registration, identity verification, processing financial payments, and adding casino games. OMEGA’s source code was chosen after a strict selection process that focused on its technical ability, readiness for regulatory approval, and overall commercial value.
Kambi will now submit the newly acquired platform for licensing approval in Nevada. The company will also continue talks with potential operating partners in the state. Kambi already has existing working integrations between its sportsbook platform and the OMEGA system, which are currently used by several partners. Because of this existing connection, Kambi expects only minimal resources will be needed to launch the new capability in Nevada. The new product will be a Turnkey with PAM solution.
Strategy for Market Expansion
Kambi Group CEO Werner Becher stated that this purchase strengthens the company’s position as a leader in sports betting solutions. Becher confirmed Kambi will still be platform agnostic in other markets, meaning it will continue to work with various third-party PAM providers.
However, the addition of an in-house PAM solution for Nevada allows Kambi to secure new commercial deals there. It also prepares the company to quickly enter other jurisdictions that might open up in the future.
Jim Godsell, OMEGA Systems Founder and CEO, noted that Kambi can now build upon the OMEGA PAM architecture. This will enable Kambi to enter new markets faster. Godsell explained that Kambi is taking full control of its PAM solution, similar to what other OMEGA licensees have done.
This independent control gives Kambi greater operational flexibility in Nevada and other target markets where third-party options are scarce.
