Iowa’s sports betting handle totaled $294.9 million in October 2024, reflecting a 15.5% increase from October 2023.

Despite the higher handle, sports betting revenue fell from $24.1 million to $18.4 million year-over-year, marking a 32.8% decline compared to September 2024.

Only two operators reported year-over-year revenue growth, further indicating that October was a strong month for bettors, as operators paid out higher winnings.

Performance by Operators

DraftKings led the Iowa market in October with $110 million in handle and $7.2 million in revenue. FanDuel followed, recording $76.3 million in handle and $5.8 million in revenue.
