IGT Appoints Nick Khin as President of Global Gaming
International Game Technology appointed Nick Khin as President of Global Gaming. Khin has been with IGT since 2013 and served as Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President of Gaming since 2015.
New Role and Responsibilities
In his role as IGT President of Global Gaming, Khin will oversee the IGT Global Gaming business unit. His responsibilities will include managing studios, technology, sales, games and hardware, manufacturing and services, and systems. Khin will report directly to IGT CEO Vince Sadusky and will be based in Las Vegas.
“Nick is the obvious choice to lead IGT Global Gaming. Under his leadership, IGT is consistently releasing top games and strengthening its performance in every game category,” said Vince Sadusky, IGT CEO. “Nick’s knowledge, leadership, and passion have earned him the respect of colleagues throughout our industry.”
Extensive Industry Experience
Nick Khin joined IGT in 2013, initially leading the corporate strategy and mergers and acquisitions functions. He brought over 23 years of industry experience to the company, having held senior executive roles in Las Vegas, London, and Sydney.
Khin’s appointment comes at a critical time, as IGT is in the process of selling its Gaming and Digital business to a newly formed holding company owned by affiliates of Apollo Global Management.
The transaction, which includes Everi, is valued at approximately $6.3 billion. Post-transaction, IGT will focus on its Global Lottery business, streamlining its operations and concentrating on its core competencies.
