Flutter Promotes Andy Branigan to Sports Director of Paddy Power Online

This move sees Branigan take the helm of the sports operations of the company’s Irish online betting segment, a critical role aimed at driving further growth.

Branigan’s Rich Background in the Gaming Industry

Andy Branigan is a seasoned veteran in the gaming industry, having been with Flutter since March 2021. His journey within the company began as head of customer, growth, and P&L, after which he advanced to head of customer growth in September 2022.

Prior to his latest role, Branigan had a substantial stint directly with the Paddy Power brand from 2016 to 2021. During these five years, he contributed in various capacities, including as a finance business partner, senior performance manager, and head of performance & operations.

Previous Industry Experience

Before joining Flutter, Branigan also brought a wealth of experience from other industry giants. He spent almost four years at Betfair and completed an internship at AMP Capital.

Expressing his enthusiasm about his new role, Branigan shared on LinkedIn that leading the sports operations at Paddy Power Online was a dream job for him a decade ago.
