FanDuel Rolls Out Big Promotions for 151st Kentucky Derby
FanDuel is gearing up for the 151st Kentucky Derby on May 3, 2025, with a packed lineup of betting options and live coverage.

Betting and Buzz at Churchill Downs
“The Kentucky Derby is one of the most historic sporting events in the world, and FanDuel is honored to be a part of it once again,” said Andrew Moore, General Manager of Racing at FanDuel.
As an official Churchill Downs partner, FanDuel’s single-wallet platform, blending sports and horse racing bets, handled $210.7 million in 2024 Derby wagers.
New customers can grab a $500 No Sweat First Bet on FanDuel Sportsbook or Racing apps, refunding up to $500 in racing bonuses if their first bet loses. Existing users get a No Sweat Win Bet on the Derby.
“We’re proud to be the first sportsbook that gives fans the ability to bet on sports and horse racing from a single platform, and we’re excited to use that access to bring new energy and excitement to racing’s biggest day,” Moore added.
Live Coverage and Star Power
FanDuel TV will deliver wall-to-wall Derby Week coverage from Churchill Downs, starting April 26, with experts like Todd Schrupp, Christina Blacker, and Larry Collmus.
“The Kentucky Derby is a cultural phenomenon on the sports calendar, and we’re thrilled to be back on the ground providing comprehensive coverage fans can’t get anywhere else,” said Michael Shiffman, Senior Vice President of FanDuel TV.
“Our team of experts and insiders will bring the stories, the contenders, and the electric atmosphere of Derby Week to life.” Fans can tune into FanDuel TV+ for live races, except NBC exclusives.
Emmy-winning host Kay Adams will broadcast Up & Adams live from Churchill Downs on May 2, from 12:00 to 2:00 PM ET on YouTube. That evening, FanDuel’s second annual Kentucky Derby Party at Old Forester’s Paristown Hall in Louisville, headlined by country star Shaboozey, will amp up the vibe.
FanDuel’s $100,000 donation to the Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance adds a community touch.
