15.05.2024

FanDuel has expanded its broadcasting capabilities with the launch of FanDuel TV Extra, a new channel on its cable television network, FanDuel TV.

FanDuel TV

This addition aims to enhance the viewing experience for sports fans by providing an ad-supported streaming television (FAST) channel, which is now available on several prominent streaming platforms including Pluto TV, The Roku Channel, and FanDuel’s own over-the-top (OTT) platform, FanDuel TV+.

Enhanced Live Sports Broadcasting

FanDuel TV Extra boasts a lineup of live sports, claiming to air more live sports than any other FAST channel currently on the market.

The channel features a diverse array of sports content, including comprehensive horse racing coverage, international basketball, South Korea’s K-League soccer, and Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. This wide-ranging sports coverage caters to a variety of interests and aims to attract a broad audience.

Strategic Expansion and Audience Engagement

Kevin Grigsby, the Executive Producer and SVP at FanDuel TV, emphasized the strategic importance of launching FanDuel TV Extra: “Launching ‘FanDuel TV Extra’ was another important step in expanding distribution for FanDuel TV content and reaching new audiences. Our research showed a large portion of our target audience already consume content on FAST. We plan on continuing to invest in the reach of ‘FanDuel TV Extra’ by adding it to other top FAST providers in the near future,” explained Grigsby.

In addition to live sports, FanDuel TV Extra offers more than 12 hours of live sports content each day and features episodes of FanDuel TV’s original studio shows, such as “Up & Adams” and “Run it Back.” These shows provide in-depth analysis, discussions, and entertainment related to various sports, enhancing the overall content offering of FanDuel TV Extra.
