FanDuel Introduces AceAI, an AI-Powered Chat Feature for Sports Betting
FanDuel has launched AceAI, a new generative AI chat function integrated directly into its Sportsbook app. This is the first such feature in the sports betting industry, designed to enhance the user experience.
Empowering Bettors with Technology
The AceAI platform supports users by delivering key insights and simplifying the betting process. Customers can request specific information, such as LeBron James’s average points per game over the past month, or ask for a custom parlay combining his points and assists in a hypothetical Los Angeles Lakers loss.
The tool quickly locates betting options, constructs accumulator bets, and retrieves relevant team or player statistics, streamlining tasks that once took considerable time.
Currently, AceAI is available to approximately 1% of FanDuel’s customer base, focusing exclusively on National Basketball Association and National Football League markets.
The company plans to expand its scope to additional sports in the future, with potential enhancements including live betting, Next Gen Stats wagers, and multi-sport parlays.

Jon Sadow, FanDuel’s Vice President of Product Transformation and Innovation, emphasized the strategic intent behind AceAI. “As the leading sportsbook we think there’s an opportunity for us to set the pace on what experiences should look like for customers. We are in a position as a market leader to have a tremendous amount of data that we can actually put into customers’ hands that empower them to make educated decisions.”
Beyond convenience, AceAI incorporates responsible gaming principles. The tool is trained to detect potentially problematic betting patterns.
If a user’s query raises concerns, it may redirect them to responsible gaming resources or prompt contact with support staff, ensuring safety remains a priority.
Enhancing the Betting Experience
AceAI transforms the way users engage with sports betting. Constructing a complex parlay, which might have required several minutes, now takes seconds. Access to team and player data is immediate, eliminating the need to scour external sources. This efficiency empowers bettors to make informed decisions swiftly, enhancing both speed and confidence in their wagers.
The timeline for a full rollout to all FanDuel users remains unspecified. For now, the select group testing AceAI enjoys its benefits on NBA and NFL bets. Should it gain traction, expansions into live betting and advanced statistical options are on the horizon.
