FanDuel Brings Manning Brothers Head-to-Head in Super Bowl LIX “Kick of Destiny 3”

14.01.2025

FanDuel, an Official Sports Betting Partner of the NFL, is introducing a unique element to Super Bowl LIX with the latest edition of its “Kick of Destiny” campaign. For the first time, two-time Super Bowl champions Peyton Manning and Eli Manning will compete head-to-head in a live field goal kicking contest during the FOX Super Bowl Pregame Show

The Kick of Destiny 3: Sibling Rivalry

The competition will air during the 3 p.m. ET hour on Super Bowl Sunday and features Peyton and Eli attempting 25-yard field goals live from New Orleans. If neither scores on the first attempt, they’ll get additional chances. After three rounds, if no winner emerges, the kicker whose final attempt lands closest to the center target on the net will take home the title.

FanDuel is giving its customers a chance to join the action. Through the FanDuel Sportsbook app, eligible users can make a free pick on which Manning they think will win. Those who guess correctly will share in $10 million in Bonus Bets, adding an extra layer of stakes to the already thrilling Super Bowl Sunday lineup.

A Super Bowl Tradition

“The Kick of Destiny has become a Super Bowl Sunday staple,” said Andrew Sneyd, FanDuel Executive Vice President of Marketing. “This year, we’re raising the stakes with a sibling rivalry. Peyton and Eli Manning will compete live for the first time in Super Bowl history, bringing excitement to fans everywhere. May the best Manning win!”

The Mannings themselves are embracing the competitive spirit.

“I’m feeling really good about my chances to get the win,” said Eli Manning. “I look forward to celebrating with everyone in America who picks me to beat Peyton.”

“Eli and I have always been competitive,” added Peyton Manning. “This is going to be a fun way to challenge each other, and I’ve been training hard to bring home the win for everyone who picks me to beat Eli.”

Beyond the Live Kick

The excitement doesn’t stop with the live event. FanDuel will showcase two Super Bowl TV spots, featuring recap footage of the Manning brothers’ contest and revealing whether Team Peyton or Team Eli emerged victorious. The ads will celebrate the fans who picked the winning side and their share of the $10 million in Bonus Bets.
