DraftKings Secures Long-Term Sports Betting License at Wrigley Field
DraftKings has secured a four-year master sports betting license to operate at the historic Wrigley Field, home of the Chicago Cubs.

Wrigley Field, a cornerstone of American sports culture, now hosts a DraftKings sportsbook, merging the charm of traditional baseball with the thrill of modern sports betting.

Transition from Temporary to Permanent
The journey to this moment began with a temporary license that allowed the Boston-based operator to manage a sports bar and restaurant space at the venue since last June.
With the new permanent license, DraftKings can now fully activate the sports betting aspect of its operations, adding a significant draw to the already popular Wrigley Field location.
The granting of this permanent license by the Illinois Gaming Commission solidifies DraftKings’ footprint in Illinois and complements another strategic license for mobile operations through Crown IL Gaming at Casino Queen in East St. Louis.
