DraftKings Merges Jackpocket Accounts for Unified Betting and Lottery Play
DraftKings is hooking up Jackpocket and DraftKings accounts, making betting a breeze after snagging the lottery app for $750 million last year.

A Big Win for Bettors
DraftKings has decided to tie Jackpocket accounts to its main platform, with the rollout hitting in a few weeks. After dropping $750 million to buy the lottery app last year, DraftKings is all in on creating a one-stop shop for sports bets, casino games, and lottery tickets.
The goal’s to keep things simple for its 2.3 million monthly users, especially after Jackpocket’s 70% revenue spike in 2024 gave DraftKings’ first-quarter numbers a solid boost.
Grabbing Jackpocket was DraftKings’ ticket into the online lottery game, a move they said would “safely grow the category” and send more cash to states.
Now, linking accounts is about making life easier for players. Soon, you’ll use one login to jump between NFL bets, slots, and Powerball tickets, no more flipping between apps.
Stricter Limits, Some States Exits
There’s a catch with the account link-up: deposit limits are getting tougher. DraftKings will pick the stricter limit from your Jackpocket or DraftKings settings and apply it across the board.
Got a $100 weekly cap on Jackpocket? That’ll stick for your DraftKings bets too, keeping spending in check. On the flip side, DraftKings yanked Jackpocket out of Texas and New Mexico after those states cracked down on third-party lottery apps.
Texas’ ban is tied up in court, which could open the door again, but Connecticut’s also eyeing restrictions, keeping Jackpocket out for now. These bumps show the tough road DraftKings faces in the online lottery space.
