DraftKings Launches NFL Sweepstakes to Drive Use of Responsible Gaming Tools
DraftKings is launching a new month-long campaign for Responsible Gaming Education Month (RGEM), using the allure of NFL tickets and a grand prize trip to Super Bowl LX to encourage its customers to engage with its responsible gaming tools. The campaign, which coincides with the start of the NFL season, is centered on promoting the company’s proprietary responsible play features, including “My Budget Builder” and “My Stat Sheet.”

An Incentive-Based Approach to Player Education
The core of the campaign is a sweepstakes designed to make responsible gaming education more interactive. Rather than simply reminding players about the availability of its tools, DraftKings is rewarding them for using them.

How the Sweepstakes Works
The campaign is structured as a series of weekly giveaways tied to specific responsible gaming actions.
- The promotion kicks off with a chance to win regular-season NFL tickets for users who engage with the “My Budget Builder” tool.
- Subsequent weeks will feature different responsible gaming actions, such as setting player alerts or exploring the betting tips in the company’s Responsible Gaming Center, with more tickets up for grabs.
- The campaign culminates with the grand prize, a trip to Super Bowl LX, which will be awarded to a user who engages with the “My Stat Sheet” tool to review their personal play activity.
Building on Existing Tools
The sweepstakes highlights two of DraftKings’ key responsible gaming features. “My Stat Sheet,” an industry-first tool that provides a personalized summary of a user’s activity, has been used by approximately 3.4 million customers since its launch over a year ago. The campaign also promotes the newer “My Budget Builder” tool, which was introduced in June 2025 to help players manage their spending.
In addition to the sweepstakes, the company is also distributing its new “Code of Responsible Play” to millions of customers ahead of the NFL season. These efforts reflect a broader company strategy to integrate responsible play throughout the customer journey, moving beyond simple compliance to a more proactive and engaging approach to player health.
