DraftKings Casino Expands Electric Poker to Pennsylvania Following Successful Launch in Michigan
DraftKings Casino has announced the expansion of its innovative Electric Poker game to Pennsylvania, following its successful debut in Michigan in August. The game, which features fast-paced, three-handed, no-limit Texas Hold’em tournaments, has generated positive engagement from Michigan players, prompting DraftKings to make it available to Pennsylvania players starting October 15.
A Unique Take on Traditional Poker
Electric Poker follows the standard rules of No Limit Texas Hold’em but includes several distinctive features exclusive to DraftKings. These include a randomly generated prize pool determined by a prize multiplier, quick two-minute blind levels, and an “electric mode” feature designed to intensify gameplay.
The tournament-style format offers a modern, visually engaging experience that takes poker to new levels of competitive play.
Jason March, Vice President of iGaming Marketing and Operations at DraftKings, highlighted the game’s success: “Electric Poker is one of many innovative games on DraftKings Casino, which houses exclusive products that players can’t get anywhere else. After positive feedback from our players in Michigan, we are thrilled to expand our Electric Poker offerings to our customers in Pennsylvania, delivering them a best-in-class online poker experience.”
Variety of Buy-In Levels and Prize Multipliers
Electric Poker allows eligible players to join quickly and be matched with other poker enthusiasts, offering buy-in levels ranging from $1.00 to $25.00.
The game includes prize multipliers up to 10,000x, enhancing the excitement and potential rewards for participants. Players in Michigan have already embraced the new format, and DraftKings aims to provide Pennsylvania players with the same engaging experience.
