Caesars Entertainment Launches Maine’s First In-Person Sportsbook at Oddfellahs
Caesars Entertainment has inaugurated the first physical sports wagering location in Maine, partnering with the newly opened sports venue, Oddfellahs.

Collaboration with First Tracks Investments
The launch was made possible through Caesars Sportsbook’s collaboration with First Tracks Investments LLC. Oddfellahs, now powered by Caesars Sportsbook, offers a modern sports bar experience in the heart of downtown Portland at 55 Market Street. The venue aims to become a central hub for sports fans in the Pine Tree State.
The grand opening featured a ceremonial first bet placed by Portland Mayor Mark Dion. Representatives from Caesars Sportsbook, First Tracks Investments, the Portland City Council, and the Maine Gambling Control Unit attended the event, marking a significant moment in Maine’s gaming industry.
Statements from Key Figures
Eric Hession, President of Caesars Digital, expressed gratitude towards state officials: “We’d like to thank Governor Janet Mills, the Maine Gambling Control Unit, the Portland City Council, and the entire state legislature for making today possible.” He highlighted the partnership with the Wabanaki Nations and the timing of the launch with the start of the football season.
Michael Cianchette, CEO of First Tracks Investments LLC, shared his enthusiasm: “Building something new is always a challenge, but great teams make great things possible. This is an exciting venture for Maine’s harness racing industry, Wabanaki tribes, and sports fans across the state to access a new entertainment venue. We’re excited for whatever comes next and look forward to providing sustainable, responsible opportunities.”
Oddfellahs offers patrons aged 21 and over a comprehensive sports betting experience. The venue includes self-service betting kiosks, over-the-counter betting windows, and more than 36 screens broadcasting sporting events year-round, including every NFL game. Additional amenities include full food and beverage services, table shuffleboard, and two Top Golf Swing Suites simulators.
