Caesars and WSOP Launch Unified Online Poker Platform Across Three States

29.05.2024

Caesars Entertainment and the World Series of Poker (WSOP) have announced the integration of player pools from Michigan, Nevada, and New Jersey into a single network with the launch of the real-money poker platform WSOP Online. This initiative makes WSOP the first poker operator to combine liquidity across three U.S. jurisdictions.

Platform Features and Enhancements

The rebranded WSOP Online platform, transitioning from WSOP.com, introduces several upgraded features, including:

  • Four-Table Capabilities on Mobile: Allows players to engage in multiple tables simultaneously, including Omaha games.
  • Multi-Flight Re-Entry Tournaments: Provides players with multiple opportunities to enter tournaments.
  • In-App Gift Drops: Adds a layer of excitement with random gift rewards.
  • New Game Derivatives: Features such as Mystery Bounty enhance the gaming experience.
  • New Promotions and Weekly Tournaments: Ensures a dynamic and engaging player experience.

Danielle Barille, Vice President of Online Poker at Caesars Digital, emphasized the positive impact of these updates: “This platform upgrade is long overdue and is a big win for our players. The best is yet to come for WSOP Online tournaments, and we’re thrilled to bring Michigan players into the fold with Nevada and New Jersey, resulting in a better experience, more value, and the biggest prize pools of the year.”

Transition Process for Existing Players

Players from Nevada and New Jersey will need to complete a pre-registration process to create accounts on the new platform. Existing balances, tournament tickets, and rewards points will be automatically transferred to the new accounts within 72 hours of the platform’s launch.

The current service will be available until May 27, after which players will be prompted to re-install the WSOP Online app following the pre-registration period.

The launch of WSOP Online coincides with the 55th edition of the World Series of Poker, which begins on May 28 at Horseshoe Las Vegas and Paris Las Vegas. From June 1 to July 21, there will be 30 online bracelet events, including gold bracelet events every Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday.

WSOP Online will feature exclusive satellites to qualify for land-based tournaments, daily single-table satellites, and promotions such as the guaranteed 25-seat Main Event mega-satellites on June 30 and July 3. Additionally, the platform will introduce five high-roller events with a hybrid format, where final tables will be played live in Las Vegas.
