BetMGM Unveils Jamie Foxx in ‘Vegas Lights’ Casino Ad
On March 4, 2025, BetMGM launched its first casino commercial, “Vegas Lights.” The 30-second spot stars brand ambassador Jamie Foxx. It highlights how BetMGM’s app ties digital play to real Vegas thrills.

A Star-Lit Journey
In “Vegas Lights,” Foxx taps the BetMGM app to light up Las Vegas. He visits MGM Resorts icons like Bellagio and ARIA. Each tap unlocks rewards, think show tickets or hotel stays.
“I love how the spot turned out,” Foxx said. “BetMGM’s been phenomenal to work with.”
The ad, shot by The Malloys and Jeff Cronenweth, aired across five markets: Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Ontario.
The commercial underscores a key perk. Players can earn in-person MGM Resorts experiences online. Casey Hurbis, BetMGM’s Chief Marketing Officer, praised the approach. “This spot captures our blend of online and in-person casino fun,” he said. Meanwhile, Highdive’s Mark Gross added, “No one lights up Vegas like BetMGM and Jamie Foxx.”
Creative Powerhouse
Highdive, BetMGM’s award-winning agency, crafted the ad. The Malloys directed, with Superprime producing. Jeff Cronenweth handled cinematography.
AJ Mazza, BetMGM’s Brand Director, lauded Foxx’s role. “His energy on set was irresistible,” Mazza said. “Jamie opens up creative ways to unleash our brand.”
