BetMGM Launches “Kickoff With The Stars” Live Dealer Blackjack Event Featuring New York Jets Legends
BetMGM has announced an upcoming event to mark the start of the 2024 NFL season: the “Kickoff With The Stars” live dealer blackjack event. The event will feature two New York Jets legends, Wayne Chrebet and Tony Richardson, engaging with players in real-time on BetMGM Casino.
NFL Legends Meet Live Blackjack
The special event is set to take place on Thursday, September 5, at Evolution’s Atlantic City live dealer studio. BetMGM players in New Jersey can join the action by logging into BetMGM Casino from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. for a unique experience.
Players will be seated at a private Infinite Blackjack table, allowing hundreds of participants to play simultaneously instead of the typical seven-seat setup. Wayne Chrebet and Tony Richardson will provide commentary, share stories, and interact with players live during the event.
Oliver Bartlett, BetMGM’s Vice President of Gaming Product & Content, emphasized the importance of blending the excitement of live dealer games with the star power of NFL legends: “By bringing together the star power of Jets legends Wayne Chrebet and Tony Richardson with the thrill of live dealer blackjack, BetMGM is creating an exciting event to celebrate the start of the NFL season.”
A Unique Live Dealer Experience
In partnership with Evolution, BetMGM aims to create an innovative live dealer experience, further showcasing its commitment to providing entertainment that goes beyond traditional gaming.
Jacob Claesson, CEO of Evolution North America, expressed excitement about the collaboration: “This exciting event showcases our innovative live dealer blackjack and offers players the rare opportunity to interact in real-time with Wayne and Tony while playing.”
Wayne Chrebet, a former wide receiver, enjoyed an illustrious 11-year career with the Jets, where he recorded 580 receptions and 7,365 yards, securing his spot in the team’s “Ring of Honor.” Tony Richardson, one of the greatest fullbacks in NFL history, played 17 seasons and blocked for 1,000-yard rushers in nine consecutive seasons, including for Jets star Thomas Jones.
