BetMGM Forges Partnership With Pittsburgh Penguins
BetMGM has finalized a multi-year agreement to become an official sports betting and online casino partner of the Pittsburgh Penguins.

This collaboration grants BetMGM partnerships with all three of Pittsburgh’s major professional sports teams. The deal aims to enhance the fan experience both inside and outside the arena, leveraging the high engagement of the National Hockey League (NHL) fanbase.
Engagement and Arena Presence
The partnership establishes a strong physical and digital presence for the operator. Key components of the agreement include highly visible BetMGM signage and branding placed throughout the PPG Paints Arena. This ensures the brand is front and center during Penguins home games and other venue events.
The collaboration will also extend to digital platforms. The two organizations plan to create co-branded social media content and offer exclusive promotions. Furthermore, BetMGM will utilize premium hospitality assets to provide VIP fan experiences. BetMGM plans to launch Penguins-themed iGaming products soon, connecting the team brand directly to the online casino platform.
Steve Kelley, Senior Vice President of Partnerships for the Pittsburgh Penguins, welcomed the arrangement. “The Pittsburgh Penguins are proud to welcome BetMGM as an Official Sports Betting Partner,” Kelley stated. He emphasized that the partnership with the “established leader” supports the team’s commitment to improving the gameday experience for its passionate fanbase.
Local Market Strategy and Player Safety
This agreement deepens BetMGM’s roots in the Pittsburgh market, allowing the company to engage a dedicated local audience. Casey Hurbis, BetMGM Chief Marketing Officer, highlighted the importance of the city. “Pittsburgh is home to some of the most iconic sports franchises,” Hurbis said.
“This latest collaboration with the Penguins builds on our deep ties across the city and opens new opportunities to engage fans through unforgettable experiences at PPG Paints Arena, and beyond.”
