Bally’s Launches Casino and Sports Betting App in New Jersey
Bally’s has launched an integrated app in New Jersey that combines casino and sports betting in one. The app is available on iOS and Android and replaces the Bally’s standalone casino app. The rollout will be phased to ensure a smooth transition for customers.
Key Features of the new app
The app simplifies Bally’s offerings so you can access multiple gaming options in one place.
- One App: Casino and sports betting combined.
- One Account: One account to access all services without having to switch apps.
- One Wallet: A single transactional wallet for casino games and sports bets.
This is part of Bally’s efforts to simplify the user experience and consolidate its digital footprint across the U.S.
Bally’s has been offering casino in New Jersey since February 2022. Sports betting is new and aimed at taking a bigger piece of the state’s crowded gaming market. The app is part of a broader national rollout with the platform live in 10 states including Maryland, Tennessee and Massachusetts.
Bally’s thinks the app’s unique design and features will help the company differentiate itself in New Jersey’s competitive gaming market. By offering a unified experience Bally’s will attract both casino and sports betting players under one roof.
The CEO of North America Interactive for Bally, Brett Calapp, said: “We are excited to launch the new Bally Bet Sportsbook & Casino app, a key milestone for Bally’s. This unified platform combines our existing apps’ features and functionality, offering New Jersey players a seamless sports and casino betting experience. Enhancing the player experience remains a crucial focus in personalizing the fun while playing Bally Bet.”
New Jersey’s Booming Gaming Market
The app launches at a time when New Jersey’s gaming revenues are surging. In September 2024 casino operators in the state saw a 27.1% year over year revenue increase and sports books saw a 7.6% increase, generating $119.6 million in revenue.
This growth makes New Jersey a key market for operators and for Bally’s to expand its offerings.
Bally’s entry into the New Jersey sports betting market puts it alongside established players FanDuel, DraftKings and BetMGM. But the company’s integrated app which combines casino and sports betting in one app is designed to be different.
