Aristocrat Interactive Selected to Power Massachusetts’ New iLottery Platform
The Massachusetts State Lottery Commission (MSLC) has chosen Aristocrat Interactive to build and operate its new iLottery platform. The selection, which followed a competitive bidding process, awards a lucrative long-term contract to Aristocrat to develop and manage the online lottery system.

A Comprehensive iLottery Solution
Under the five-year agreement, which is scheduled to begin on July 1, 2026, Aristocrat will provide its full-service iLottery platform. The contract also includes three optional three-year extensions.
The scope of the partnership is extensive. Aristocrat will be responsible for:
- The core iLottery platform and player account management system.
- A portfolio of game content, including eInstants and digital versions of draw games.
- A platform to aggregate and offer content from third-party game developers.
In addition to the technology, Aristocrat will work directly with the MSLC on marketing, player promotions, customer service, and responsible gaming initiatives.
Modernizing a Top-Performing Lottery
The move to an online platform is a key part of the MSLC’s strategy to modernize its offerings and meet the evolving preferences of its players. The Massachusetts Lottery is already a global leader, ranking as the top-performing U.S. retail lottery on a per capita basis and third worldwide.
The new iLottery program is designed to complement this existing retail success, not replace it, by providing a secure and scalable digital channel for players.
“The Massachusetts State Lottery Commission is taking a significant step forward in modernizing our operations with a world class iLottery program,” said MSLC Executive Director Mark William Bracken. He noted that after a comprehensive review, Aristocrat “demonstrated the best value for the Commonwealth” and provides a “proven, successful platform.”
A Strategic Win for Aristocrat
For Aristocrat Interactive, securing the Massachusetts contract is a significant victory and a powerful endorsement of its iLottery technology. The company has been aggressively expanding its footprint in the regulated U.S. iLottery market.
“We are extremely proud to be selected as the partner for MSLC after a highly competitive process,” said Moti Malul, CEO of Aristocrat Interactive. “We look forward to helping the MSLC deliver on its objective to expand player engagement through innovative and responsible online play.”
This win continues a successful streak for the company. Aristocrat is also set to launch New Hampshire’s iLottery platform in July 2025 and recently signed a six-year agreement with the Michigan Lottery, beginning in July 2026. The new partnership with Massachusetts solidifies its position as a leading technology provider in the growing U.S. iLottery sector.
