A New Digital Play in Washington, DC

“DC Lottery’s mission is to responsibly maximize lottery funding for our communities – and our players expect high-quality gaming experiences,” said Eugene Vlasenko, interim executive director of DC Lottery.

This partnership, powered by Instant Win Gaming’s (IWG) InstantRGS platform, brings Allwyn’s 300-game library to the DC market.

Super Cash Bolt, tailored for DC players from its UK and Irish roots, delivers vibrant visuals and interactive play. “Allwyn is known for offering innovative gaming experiences for players,” said Wayne Pickup, CEO of Allwyn North America.

“It’s all about creating a digital world for our players with animation and interactive play.” With the DC Lottery’s $2.4 billion contribution to the city’s General Fund since 1982, this move could add $5 million yearly.

Immersive Games via IWG’s Platform

Allwyn’s e-Instants, including match-three and long-form games, leverage IWG’s InstantRGS for seamless delivery. IWG, 70% owned by Allwyn since September 2024, powers 250 new games annually across regulated markets.

The platform cuts deployment time, letting DC Lottery players dive into Super Cash Bolt’s dynamic features. With 60% of U.S. lottery players online, Allwyn’s tech could boost engagement by 15%.

The DC Lottery, handling $300 million in 2024 sales, aims to keep gameplay responsible,. “We’re excited to partner with Allwyn to bring a highly engaging style of e-Instants to our players with dynamic features and immersive gameplay,” Vlasenko said.

Allwyn’s European hits, like Cash Bolt, adapt to local tastes, potentially drawing 10,000 new DC players.

Allwyn’s 20-year expertise ensures a diverse game mix, from quick wins to immersive titles. The DC Lottery’s focus on community funding, with $70 million yearly for education and health, aligns with Allwyn’s responsible gaming push.

IWG’s platform, used by lotteries like Ontario’s, supports 3 million monthly transactions, ensuring DC’s games run smoothly.
