Bally’s Corporation has unveiled plans for Bally’s Las Vegas, a next-generation entertainment resort set to take over the former Tropicana site on the Las Vegas Strip. Sharing a 35-acre campus with the upcoming Major League Baseball ballpark for the Las Vegas Athletics, the project is being positioned as one of the most ambitious developments in the city’s modern history. Construction is expected to begin in the first half of 2026, pending approvals from Clark County.

A Landmark Development on the Strip

Bally’s Las Vegas will feature two luxury hotel towers with 3,000 rooms, a state-of-the-art entertainment venue seating 2,500 guests, and more than 500,000 square feet of retail, dining, and entertainment.

The design also includes a new casino floor and an exclusive VIP experience with direct access to the adjacent ballpark, blending the energy of the Strip with the excitement of live professional sports.

Chairman Soo Kim described the project as “a once-in-a-generation opportunity” to reshape the heart of Las Vegas. The company has partnered with JLL to handle retail and dining sourcing, while Marnell Architecture — the design firm behind iconic properties such as Mirage, Bellagio and Wynn — serves as architect of record.

Where Sports and Entertainment Converge

The development coincides with the arrival of Major League Baseball on the Strip. By linking the ballpark to a resort destination, Bally’s aims to create a unified campus appealing to both international travelers and regional baseball fans. Guests will find a curated mix of dining concepts, flagship retail, and immersive attractions designed to capture the diverse character of Las Vegas.

JLL Vice Chairman Michael Hirschfeld, who leads the project’s global leasing team, noted that Las Vegas is one of the country’s top markets for food, beverage, entertainment and retail, producing some of the highest sales per unit thanks to extended operating hours.

This project builds on Bally’s growing national and international footprint. The company currently operates 19 casinos in 11 U.S. states and holds online sports betting licenses in 13 North American jurisdictions. It also owns Bally Bet, Bally Casino, and the global Bally’s Interactive International division, alongside new ventures such as its stake in Intralot S.A.
