GiG Bolsters Leadership with Ex-DraftKings Exec Andy Evers as SVP Commercial
GiG Software Plc has tapped Andy Evers, formerly Commercial Director at DraftKings, as its new Senior Vice President of Commercial. Announced this week, Evers’s appointment brings a seasoned iGaming veteran to oversee GiG’s Commercial, Account Management, and Managed Services teams.

A Heavy Hitter Joins the Fold
Evers steps into a pivotal role at a bustling time for GiG. With a decade-plus in B2B iGaming, spanning leadership stints at Betgenius and DraftKings, he’s tasked with steering GiG’s commercial strategy.
His mission is to deepen ties with clients, including Tier 1 operators, while ensuring seamless delivery across GiG’s end-to-end solutions, think customer support, risk management, compliance, and business intelligence.
Evers’s knack for building high-value partnerships in regulated markets like the U.S., Asia, and Europe positions him to drive GiG’s global ambitions.
The hire aligns with GiG’s growth spurt. A swelling pipeline of new deals has the company scaling fast, and Evers’s expertise in sportsbook and platform solutions should keep operations humming as partners lean on GiG’s proprietary tech—one of the few offering such a full-service package.
Voices from the Top
James Coxon, GiG’s Chief Operating Officer, welcomed the addition with enthusiasm. “Andy’s arrival provides a fantastic boost to the business at a pivotal time,” he said. “His experience and proven track-record at driving commercial successes feed into our commitment to optimise our partners’ operations, ensuring we remain able to understand and serve their needs, delivering industry leading and world class support in multiple markets.” For Coxon, Evers is a linchpin in keeping GiG ahead of the curve.
Evers, meanwhile, is eager to dive in. “I’ve been incredibly impressed by the vision and strategy that GiG’s executive management team has implemented,” he said, “as well as the immense potential for significant growth and expansion within the business.” Reflecting on past ties with GiG execs from his DraftKings days, he added, “I’ve seen firsthand the high standards they uphold and I look forward to the challenge of helping scale its operational and commercial capabilities during what promises to be a truly exciting period ahead.”
