Kambi Secures Nevada Gaming License
Kambi Group has received approval to operate in Nevada. The Nevada Gaming Commission granted the company Manufacturer & Distributor Licenses and an Information Services License after a unanimous recommendation by the Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB).
This approval allows Kambi to offer its sportsbook technology to nonrestricted gaming establishments in Las Vegas and across the state.
A Strategic Move for Kambi
Nevada has some of the strictest gaming regulations in the world. Only a few companies meet the state’s high standards. With limited B2B competition, Kambi now has a valuable opportunity to grow in a highly regulated market.
Since 2018, Kambi has played a major role in the regulated U.S. sports betting industry. It processed the first legal online bet outside of Nevada after the repeal of PASPA (Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act). Expanding into Nevada strengthens its North American presence.
CEO’s Perspective
Werner Becher, CEO of Kambi, emphasized the significance of this achievement:
“Securing approval for our licences in Nevada is an important milestone for Kambi and a testament to our market-leading technology, regulatory expertise and corporate integrity. Nevada is widely known as the gold standard for betting and gaming regulation, insisting on a standard that few companies can meet, and is therefore recognition of Kambi’s unwavering commitment to excellence. We would like to thank both the Commission and NGCB for their thorough review and approval of our applications.”
With sports betting expanding across the U.S., Kambi’s Nevada entry fits into its broader growth strategy. The company’s advanced sportsbook technology and strong regulatory focus give it a competitive edge.
