BetMGM Expands Second Chance Promotion to NBA and NHL
BetMGM is extending its Second Chance promotion, offering cash refunds on first scorer bets in NBA and NHL games, following a successful launch during the football season.
Second Chance Now Available for Basketball and Hockey
Following a successful debut during the football season, BetMGM is now extending its Second Chance offer to both NBA and NHL contests. This promotion allows users who place a straight bet on a player to score the first field goal in an NBA game, or the first goal in an NHL game, to receive their initial stake back as withdrawable cash if their chosen player scores second.
The NBA Second Chance is active every Friday throughout the regular season, while the NHL offer commences on January 8th and will run every Wednesday. The initial football launch of this promotion resulted in a 110% increase in first touchdown bets year-over-year, demonstrating its appeal.
Casey Hurbis, BetMGM Chief Marketing Officer, stated that the expansion of Second Chance to hockey and basketball is a “natural fit” after the success of the football season launch.
He added that “Second Chance is just one more example of how BetMGM continues to deliver an elevated sports betting experience for our customers.” The promotion refunds are paid as withdrawable, unrestricted funds.
